Meharie Kidane

Meharie is a young rapper and artist from Fresno, California, using hip-hop as a way to express himself, share his experiences, and give young people in his community a positive voice. He’s had the opportunity to perform at numerous community events and shows, including sharing the stage with well-known Bay Area rapper LaRussell and going bar for bar with J. Cole. His music focuses on positivity, authenticity, and representing the 559 while showing that hip-hop can be used to uplift, connect, and inspire people. Through his artistry, he hope to encourage young people to express themselves creatively and show that there are positive ways to represent where they come from and make an impact in their community.
